Irina Zghibarti

Irina was admitted to as a practising solicitor in England and Wales in 2009. Since qualification, Irina has worked for numerous large City law firms with her last position being at Norton Rose Fulbright. Irina is also a qualified lawyer in the Republic of Moldova which gives her an understanding of the principles of the continental civil law.

Irina specialises in finance law and has seven years of experience in private practice in various aspects of structured and project finance, trade finance and corporate law, including: pre-export and prepayment transactions; asset based lending; receivables finance transactions, acquisition finance, corporate M&A, etc. During her career, Irina has acted for banks, trading companies, major commodity mining companies and trading companies around the world.

Irina’s most recent role was in-house role within a commercial property business, where she has been dealing with the day-to-day corporate matters of that group of companies and their internal legal matters.

Irina also speaks Russian and Romanian.

During her spare time, Irina enjoys playing tennis and painting with a keen interest in impressionism art.
